Not long after a great weekend at the  Abite Expo 2008, the Melbourne Joomla User Group meets again on Wed, 27 August. We will be showcasing and discussing current member's projects/achievements/obstacles and everyone has a chance to come forward and present.

The Melbourne Joomla User Group had a great response from the public at the Australian Business & IT Expo 08 held from Sat 16 Aug until Monday 18 August 2008 at the Melbourne Exhibition Centre, Southbank.

September Topic: eCommerce
The September meeting by request is focussing on eCommerce. We will have input from various eCommerce apps. Hard on the heels of another excellent meeting in August - some very interesting questions raised and answered. If you have more Qs, why not pop them on the forum (forum.joomladay.org.au)? So much talent washing around in there.

I discovered today via community.joomla.org that there is a new JUG in Kiama, NSW, next meeting Aug 30th. Welcome to the Aussie community! Does anyone know of any other groups out there in Aus? We'd love to publicise and support meetings/groups as they spring up. Congrats to Kiama on being the only Aussie JUG in a small town!
