Tim Plummer

Open source enthusiast, Joomla User Group Sydney Meetup organiser, JoomlaDay Australia event organiser, author of Learning Joomla! 3 Extension Development, developer and speaker, Tim Plummer, will be speaking at this year's JoomlaDay Australia event. Tim will be presenting on, the soon to be released, Joomla 4, and how we can make use of the custom fields and new workflow features.

Tim is the owner of Tamlyn Software, offering Joomla extensions that are simple to use, and yet powerful enough to solve some common problems. Shayne Bartlett

We are excited to announce Shayne Bartlett, Co-Founder of Joomla, now a consulting Solutions Architect / Engineer, will be speaking at JoomlaDay Australia this year. Shayne is a long-time supporter of our event and a valued speaker, and will be presenting on Joomla Security, Privacy and the GDPR on Saturday, and Joomla to Scale on Sunday. As well as being an active member of the Australian Joomla community, Shayne has, in the past, also served on the board of Joomla's legal entity, Open Source Matters Inc for two years. He now maintains a stable of Joomla-centric clients as well as assisting digital agencies with their Joomla requirements.

Shayne's consulting firm, Elastik Space, offers bespoke web application development, hosting and infrastructure, Joomla extensions and tools, support and maintenance, and education and training services. Check out the Elastik Space website to find out more.

JoomlaDay Australia 2019 preparation is well underway and our speaker spots are almsot full, however the invitation is still open to our enthusiastic community to share your knowledge and experience at JoomlaDay this year!

Presentations and workshops will run on both days of the conference, 3-4 August 2019.
